Christmas Together in the Community 2025

Townsville City council is providing funding to support initiatives aimed at reducing loneliness, connecting individuals with others and building community spirit and inclusion as a part of a festive celebration.

Funding through the Christmas Together in Our Community program is awarded through a competitive assessment process. Meeting the assessment criteria does not automatically guarantee funding.

Townsville City Council collects and manages personal information in the course of performing its activities, functions and duties including administering Community Grants and Partnership programs. Successful applicants of the Christmas Together in the Community funding will be required to provide the following outcomes reporting:

• Explanation of how the initiative brought the community together, reduced loneliness and isolation and fostered community spirit and inclusion.
• Photographs of the event set up (these do not need to include participants).
• Number of participants who attended the
• Use of council’s logo on marketing materials and social
• Financial acquittal including provision of receipts for all eligible items EX GST
